  1. Hi Robert It should fit the slot nicely but not sure if you'll have all the necessary cabling there...worth looking to see if there is an adapter (like the sort they sell in Halfords) to plug and play rather than cutting wires, etc. Also, it may need programming into the vehicle to work. Let us know how you get on with it. Cheers Trevor

  2. Hi, I had similar problems too, turned out to be the mass air flow sensor, I know you said you changed it but i have had new parts go faulty before, you may of tried this before but when you start the car and it warms up and it starts cutting out again, try disconnecting the multi plug to the mass air flow sensor and try starting the car it should fire up and stay running (all be it at a reduced performance) but it is a indication that the maf sensor is on its way out. also the coolant temperature sensor could be faulty, on some engines they have only one coolant temp sensor some have two, if yours is with two coolant temp sensors, one is for the temp gauges on the dash clock, and the other sensor controlls the fuel injection, from my experience check what colour the sensors are and make sure (if it is faulty) to get the most recent one( i think is green) if your car has only the one temp sensor i think it controls temp gauges and fuel injection.

  3. Hi all, I have the same issue with my 2007 SE where the display says telephone unavailable even though there are entries in the directory. Also read that the bluetooth module can be at fault, again going for a diagnostic at Audi as my Delphi software wont connect and I dont have Vag-Com yet.

  4. Hello Victori, Probably of not much interest to your impending sale, but the TH series of registration letters was originally issued by Carmarthen, but later used by Swansea ( the city, not DVLA!). Of course the first 25 - or as it 24? - of any prefixed number was not originally released by DVLA but were retained for later sale under the cherished number scheme, so your V10 would have originally been sold via. the DVLA. In case it helps interested buyers, the number appears to be also listed with Registration Transfers. Good luck with its sale Victori, Kind regards, Gareth.

  5. best thing to do is to go and see a reputable diesel tuner for a CUSTOM map. please do not go for a generic map as these are written as a blanket and each engine is different. Coming from prior knowledge of owning high performance motors i have seen so many horror stories of tuning boxes and generic "flash" maps. fuelling and timing is never spot on on these maps and often causes horrific engine failure.

  6. if the car was mapped prior to the dpf delete then it will need a map tweak now, when the map is tweaked you can also ask them to turn off or extend the parameters of the lambda sensors. hope this helps.

  7. Thank you. I took my car to a Diesel Injection Specialist who suggested that there was a leaking seal on one of the injectors. The symptoms all matched as he said if the car had been left standing the furl would leak into the cylinder and ten on start up the excess fuel would be burnt off causing a lumpy ride. Once burnt off there would be no issues. This unfortunately seems to be spot on. The only solution is to carry on regardless, or to have the seals replaced. It would need all four as impossible to tell without removing them?. They will also remove and test the injectors. It is a long process which involves taking off the rocker cover etc. So the question is how much does it bug me? Will try the cleaning fluid first though, thank you for the advice.
