  1. What makes you think this is the wrong coolant? If your existing coolant was red OAT and not blue (which it shouldn't be in a modern car) then you are fine. Mixing brands isn't a problem. If you had genuine Audi coolant then it might have been lilac? I wouldn't think putting red coolant in with the genuine Audi stuff will cause any problems as both provide the same type of protection. A full coolant change should be done every 5 years or so anyway. If this hasn't been done then it should be done at your next service interval at which point try and stick to the same brand when topping up. Most important thing is that the ratio of coolant to water is correct to protect from rust and corrosion. Dan

  2. Hi all I know I'm new to this forum and it is frowned upon to sell straight away, however my circumstances have changed rapidly and I would like my car to go to someone who will love it like I do. I have a red 2007 S5 4.2 v8. It has a custom exhaust which is perfect, cream leather interior with B&O and keyless entry and start. Lots of other extras please feel free to ask. It has 62500 miles which may change slightly but only used as a weekend car so not by much. I'm looking for £13500 but would consider sensible offers. I'll add some photos but can send more via email if needed. Many thanks for reading.

  4. Your Voltage regulator is faulty and is not sending DFM signal to BCM which is located in the boot. There is plug on the alternator with blue wire u can test that wire between there and Pin 8 at the rear in the plug that goes into BCM. If continuity is OK then is 100% that your voltage regulator is faulty. Easy job to replace.

  5. Hi Trevor yes they are saying the interior mirror doesn't have anti glare which when this is fitted it sends a signal to the side mirrors to dim right down. However this is an optional extra which I was never even told was available. I have escalated a complaint with Audi uk as the dealership won't even look into what's causing this so fingers crossed and I will keep you all posted Nicky
