  4. Hi Russ....welcome to the Forum As Gareth has mentioned about the operating temperature, I would ask when it started to happen and did anything affect it (work carried out, etc) Also, is the Air Con switched off as this has a seperate fan, so it could be the system finishing off the recirculation and shutting down, etc. Cheers Trevor

  5. Hi Dave Haha, have you tried to talk to it? ("beep beep, beeeep") ect? Years ago my dad had the same issue, it was the heat about the bumper (hot summer) and had it beeping constantly (Irrelevant just thought it say) Have you sent ir or going to send your car to a garage to look at it properly? could be a loose wire, water touching wires ect Regards Bradley

  6. I just wonder whether this thread should be under a prominent heading/ subsection of its own. It really does seem to be a cause for concern, and as such members asking for advice have to trawl through threads to find opinion and experience already gained. Any possibility Trevor? Kind regards, Gareth. p.s. I would not see this as an anti "update" thread, if the thread is easily accessible without search, since it is then far more likely to encourage owners with positive responses to post their views as well.

  7. Hello Daniel, Welcome to the forum, and let's hope someone can source these and help you with sound advice on whether they will fit - all important before you buy! I just wonder if there is anyone else in your neck of the woods who might help you out simply on a trial to fit. I think you are wise to avoid replica wheels, and it sounds you are going about this the right way. The only thing I would add is to ask whether the wheels you are considering ( if indeed they will fit) were available as an alternative fitment to the ones fitted now (from new?). If not - and assuming they do fit- then you should really cover your bum and check this out with your insurers. Some may want to increase the premium, some may not, some may not want to insure the car. Of course, you could take a chance, but a chance it would be Daniel, and you would only find out if you were insured when you try to claim. A bit pessimistic, but better to keep this in mind if and when decide to change. Good luck with it. Kind regards, Gareth.

  8. Hello Russ, When you say warm, does the car still get up to normal operating temperature as quickly as it should, and not exceed normal on the gauge. We would need to know this before offering meaningful advice. Kind regards, Gareth.

  9. Managed to sort it. The positive on the left hand side was plugged in but the negative on the right hand side wasn't. I know the rear glass was changed before I got it so the glass guy mustn't of fitted it properly......amateur lol

  10. Worth checking they are clean and then listen to each one carefully to hear a faint clicking noise which means they are working okay.
