Not sure if this is the right place, but seemed most suitable. over the next few weeks i'll have a full copy of VCDS (not lite) installed on my laptop along with the correct cable. i'm located just outside Derby (border of Derby and Nottingham), if anyone needs anything doing feel free to reply and we can arrange for you to pop round. i could even throw in a cuppa!

Audi is recalling nearly 600,000 Audi vehicles, citing a fire hazard in one model year and an airbag issue in another. Audi is recalling 342,867 A5, A5 Cabriolet and Q5 SUV's from the model year 2013-2017 because they have turbocharged engines with a coolant pump that can cause a fire when clogged with debris. The company is also recalling 234,054 2011-2017 Q5 SUV's because water from the sunroof drainage system can soak into the foam around side air bag inflators, potentially causing the inflator to explode. Audi said it became aware of the overheating risk in 2015, and opened an investigation in 2016 which concluded in December. The recalls will begin this month. the cheap boxes are no good, they fool the ECU to dump more fuel. either buy the proper tuning boxes or better still get in for a remap

Many thanks Trevor, will go seen them to check wheel alignment. Not heard of "Hunter" but I take it that's a good thing.

I would recommend Pro-Tyre for any alignment work....they have always sorted my cars (private and trade) and use the latest Hunter equipment.

I changed my Yokohama's for Pirelli P Zeros (same car - Audi A7 SLine BiTDI) and am very happy with them. I have done over 20000 miles with the back set, and think I will get about 5000 more, so 25000 miles for a tyre is pretty good (I don't exactly drive slow!). As for noise, I think the size of the wheel has more to do with it than the tyre. I don't really notice any noise, but then again, I pretty much always drive with music.
