  2. you would need to be pushing serious power with turbo, inlet and exhaust upgrades for an induction kit to be of any use other than to look fancy. the stock air box is designed to provide more than adequate air volume. as said, get a panel filter.

  3. Hello Tj, Have mentioned these in other posts from time to time:- Rainsworth Skoda ( think they operate as Skoda parts shop on EBay). Do mail order. Obviously genuine VAG parts direct from the dealer. I've always found them helpful to deal with, and supply parts at discount. No connection, and no doubt there are others. Hope this helps, Kind regards, Gareth.

The Renaissance Series, Classic Works of Art Recreated With Mechanics in an Old Garage The Creation of Adam Photographer Freddy Fabris has created “The Renaissance Series“, a wonderful interpretation of several classic master paintings of the eponymous time recreated in “an old Midwest car shop” with striking male models posing in mechanic’s uniforms. Fabris explained how he came up with the idea on Huffington Post. Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp The Last Supper Portraits Portraits Portraits photos by Freddy Fabris via Huffington Post

  9. This place is amazing (North London) picks your car up and drops it back off (for free) likes to explain everything in detail and isn't talking bull like I know other garages do and have done to me. Patrick like to speak to all his customers face to face and very reassuring and great guy and goes out his way to do thing's for you, worked for Audi for years so you know you can trust him with your car, fully competent, 10/10 for customer service and the work that he's done. He's genuine and doesn't try to get money out of you, (he told me to research things on Google and forums and see if I can do bit's myself to save some money) http://www.automotivecomponentsspecialist.com/ 020 3532 1275

  10. Thank you both. I actually spent a few months driving for service and sales at our local Audi dealer back in 2004/5 and got to drive near enough everything in the range, but I can safely say this A6 is an even better drive than the A8 was back then!

  12. I believe that if you have a TTS that's what you get two small dials or one large central dial when you change.

  14. Hello Tj, Always difficult to diagnose without access to the vehicle, but I would suggest it's worth getting the injectors tested. If it were mine, I would be looking for a recommended diesel specialist in your area rather than an Audi dealer or independent. The reference to glow plug issues seems a little odd, since you don't mention that the car is difficult to start from cold. I would invest in some diesel specialist advice/basic checks before changing the glow plugs. Let us know how you get on. Kind regards, Gareth.

  15. I can't imagine anything short of a major crash that might bend a hub forging. Has the garage checked whether the various rubber bushes in the suspension and steering links have softened or disintegrated?

  16. Yeah it was showing no problems. I got mine removed as a precaution but also because I use biodiesel and with a DPF that's a big no-no

  17. Find the fuse to remote locking remove and re insert or possibly re set I.e electric by disconnecting battery and then maybe it will do a reset. I not done that on my audi but a vw I had a while ago
