I have come across this two times in the past, one petrol one derv. The petrol one was obvious. One of the plates had been ill fitted. The diesel one was a pipe join. However, to find where each one was I followed advice on brimming the fuel tank, driving home (9 miles) lifting the seat and seeing what was wet. Easy to find. But with petrol please be mindful, the liquid itself is not actually that flammable, but vapours are extremely flammable. Take care if you are doing anything here by yourself. Keep all doors open and if you need to move wire connections etc you might be safer to disconnect the battery!! If the leak is not from the tank it is in the engine bay or somewhere along the flow and return pipes from-to tank and engine bay. Using some kitchen towel or tissues follow the pipes, dabbing the tissue on until you find a wet patch. Other than that I am out of ideas. Good luck.1 point

I think you have mmi 3g basic. If you have ami installed ( plug should be in the glovebox or under armrest ) then its just a matter of buying ami bluetooth streaming dongle/adapter . If not then your options are 1. Retrofit ami (costly £400+) 2. Retrofit aftermarket device like dension 500s bt ( bit better £200+ ) 3. Bluetooth fm reciver ( cheap £10+ )1 point

Right, here is some info on tickets for Audis in the park. Iv taken this directly from the website: "Tickets (which are wristbands) will be sent out around 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT DATE! NOT BEFORE! Children under 16 get in for FREE and DO NOT require a wristband! EVERY PERSON ATTENDING THE SHOW MUST BE WEARING THE WRISTBAND OR MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE EVENT OR PAY FULL GATE PRICE OF £10. Every wristband will come with a unique serial number....this number will be used to select the raffle prize winners! EVERY ADVANCED TICKET (WRISTBAND) WILL BE ISSUED WITH A LIMITED EDITION AUDIS IN THE PARK STICKER. THESE STICKERS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO BUY ON THE DAY!" Just to let members know that advanced tickets are £8 oh and that show starts at 9am but we will meet up prior to that so that we can role in as a club :) gates open to the general public at 10 Cheers Steve1 point

Right I think this topic should solely about tickets and who has purchased them. For all other info I think we should use the other topic as it will make it easier to know who has paid :) Here is some further info on the tickets which I have taken directly from the Audis in the park website: "Tickets (which are wristbands) will be sent out around 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT DATE! THESE STICKERS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO BUY ON THE DAY!" Obviously advanced tickets are slightly cheaper at £8. The show starts at 9am but we will meet prior to this so that we can role in as a club :) the gates open to the general public at 10 When you have paid if you can let me know how many tickets you've purchased as this will give trevor and I an idea on how many members and their familys are attending :) Il start off: PAID x2 tickets :)1 point

Welcome to the forum Chris :) Lovely a3 you have there! One of the better colours in my opinion :) As Trevor has said, you've had a nice history of audis! :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and help bunch so ask away with any questions :) with regard to the light surrounds, I believe they just unclip from the bumper and you would have to get them resprayed. I second Gareth here, If the noise stays almost constant it will be one of the rear bearings. If it gets noticeably louder when turning right it will be the left front bearing, if louder when turning right it is the left bearing (this is because on cornering the weight of the car shifts towards the opposing side of the car. To diagnose which side of the car the rear bearing is, jack up the back, (leave car in gear and front wheels chocked for safety) release the handbrake and then spin the wheel with your hands. The faulty bearing will be very obvious as you will hear a noise compared to almost zero noise on the good bearing side. Hope that helps.1 point

Hello Matt, Not sure if I can help you. Last sentence - sorry, it doesn't make sense to me, but it could be me. Could I start by just clarifying that this noise is not there when you rev. the engine at standstill, but only there when the car is moving? If only there when on the move, have you tried (under safe conditions) to deviate off a straight line - to the left and right - when this noise is present to see if the noise gets better or worse? Does the noise vary on cornering? Warped discs? I would not have thought so, since you would be more likely to feel a pulsing of the brake pedal. You seem to have eliminated the tyres, which is always the first port of call, and this may narrow it down to a wheel bearing, or if not that, possibly a drive shaft issue. Kind regards, Gareth.1 point

Hello all, I know some members who own a6 c5 estates have been interested in the 7 seat conversion. I have found a company who can supply and fit the rear seats and carry out the conversion. The company is called Van Solve and they are based in Essex. The conversion costs £1429.99 and this includes fitting which takes 3 hours. All parts are new and you get a certificate of conformity. However the seats do differ from those fitted by Audi from the factory but they are also removable when not required just like the originals. On looking at the image the seat belts are mounted differently and you don't get any rear cup holders/storage on the side boot trims. Heres the link and image for those members who are interested: https://van-solve.com/collections/frontpage/products/mercedes-benz-c-class-estate-7-seat-conversion-07-2014 please note I'm not affiliated with Van Solve, I just thought I'd share the info in case it's useful :) cheers steve1 point
