  2. My car does this, I have to press the key fob once to unlock drivers door and twice quite quickly to make it unlock the rest of the doors. Yours could be the same.

  4. Its a bit subtle, but you can't hear the ticking noise now post Cam chain tensioner repair. Like you, I thought I would be told that is how the engine sounds but they were pretty good to be fair. I had only bought the car from them a few weeks earlier. after_repair.MOV

  8. Welcome to the forum Gerry youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'm unable to help though as iv not had any experience with the 1.0tfsi engine in the a3 but iv experienced the smal engines tfsi engines in the a1. For town driving it's perfect as it can be nippy at low speeds. However if you are doing a lot of motorway driving you may found the engine is slightly noisey as it's here where the engine has to work hard. Also the S tronic box is nice and is one of the better auto gearboxes out there. Here's the link to the what car review. You may have seen it already but thought I'd share: https://www.whatcar.com/news/2016-audi-a3-10-tfsi-sportback-review/ Hope iv helped a little :) cheers steve

  9. Thanks Trevor :) thurmaston lane does come to a dead end due to new houses. The old a47 comes back and joins up to the new road (I say new but it's been there atleast 25 years)

  10. And here's another one: this is the old Thurmaston Lane in Leicester which got split in two because of a new road. As an be seen some of it is now a footpath/cycle track but the old road is visable and abit further along it's a dead end but still clearly a road!
