  4. Hi. Just a bit of useful info Had an A3 2004 8P1 (2.0 tdi) and the battery went flat. The door lock also didn't operate with the key, probably because it never got used due to always using central locking. The way I got over this was to jack the front of the car up. Remove the shield under the car, Remove the cover from the starter motor and connect the positive clip of a jump lead to the positive lead on the starter motor and the negative to the engine block. I then connected the jump leads to my other cars battery and operated the remote control. This allowed me to open the bonnet and re charge the battery. You could also do this with a jump start battery pack. Hopefully this will help someone else out.

  7. Bilt Hamber do a good one and it's not expensive either. Only tip I can give though is use a bit of petrol on a cloth to soften and remove the majority of the tar spots first. It's these that ruin clay bars quickly. Also worth putting some sacrificial cardboard on floor just in case you drop the bar, keeps the grit of it.

  9. Hi Trevor Thanks for the welcome and reply, the problem is I have involved Audi UK as well as the Business Manager within Oxford Audi and both are saying they (the screens) are not included, and although on the spec of the car, they (the screens) didn't come with the car. I have pointed out that according to the paperwork the screens need to be ordered by the Audi Centre and placed in the car. Still falling on deaf ears... I have bought 2 x Audi screens from Preston Audi who just happened to have 2 screens available, just wondering whether it's standard practice for dealers to load demonstration cars up with accessories and then sell the cars without including the accessories???

  10. I would advise running a fuel cleaning solution through the engine and also one for the intake as it sounds like the valves are sticking with carbon build up. Possibly try Terraclean treatment and I believe that they come out to your home or workplace to clean the engine through

Our Rotti off to the vets soon, not as bad as your dog, just licking himself to death pretty sure its just dry skin condition even so its still £30 just to get in the door and then whatever they add on top always happens when cash is short :( Good to hear your dog is putting up a fight, hope its back to full health soon m8

  21. Currently laid on the floor with a fire on to keep a Raven the Megan destroying Dal. She came home from the vets tonight amazingly. She is a mess like but has some amount of will for life. She even smiled for me when I came home. Might get a bit of wallpapering done over next few days though...... I know, living the dream!?!

  25. Thanks Trevor. For those who might consider coming along. I was e-mailed this:- Sunday 6th August Salisbury - Old Sarum Airfield Event A popular event for vintage and classic cars, motorbikes and aircraft. Held on the first Sunday of every month as an informal gathering. Free entry. Arrivals from 10am Free landings for all aircraft registered before 1960. On arrival, follow the signs and look out for marshals who will direct you to a dedicated parking area. Cars and motorbikes must not enter the active airfield. Information on events at Old Sarum can be found on the website: http://www.oldsarumairfield.co.uk/events/. Should provide an interesting morning meetup. Cheers Graham
