Led and audi dont get along . Especialy any audi from 2004 - 2011. Problem is with hard coded fault checking and hyperflash that cannot be switched off. Basicly the car sends current every 30 sec and reads out resistance. With led resistance being so low comparing to standard bulbs car thinks bulbs are faulty showing errors. Also the current couses led to flash every few minutes . Canbus led works on some audis and most times it dosent . Also adding resistors helps but then need to be minimum 50ohm.1 point

Hi Craig...welcome to the Forum As Steve has already said, it sounds like it can't be a fuse or relay but more than likely a loose connection somewhere. Let us know what you find Cheers, Trevor1 point

Or in many cases only hours after the emissions fix. Jim, while I appreciate your worries, as Mr Q said, 8 weeks in and you should be fine. Remember that people only take the time to report/post negative experiences as a whole, there are thousands of cars that have had the recall on emissions with no issues. We are seeing the few people comment on the negatives rather than the positive results.1 point

Hi Gary Welcome to the forum!, I've moved this to the A5 Section for now, Sure this would be the correct location. As Magnet has stated, is it an automatic? Are you able to supply us with a video at all? phone on car seat and record sound? Does it make the noise when you take your foot of the accelerator then re apply? (when you're cruising and not taking your foot of to change gear) Best Regards Bradley1 point

Finally got around to sorting it out. Borrowed a mates borascope to check the wiring and if the drainage for the rear sunroof was leaking onto the connectors. All fine so bought a gps antenna with the correct connection off eBay for £3.50 and tested it. Now works fine. Slackened off the rear trim panel and fished the wire down so the small square antenna sticks to the rear window. Job done1 point

In my opinion Gary, you can't go wrong with Halfords rubber mats, if you buy a decent set at around £25+ genuine mats will be at least £40 for the fron alone. I have Halfords mats in my Ford escort and they've last 10 years! Cheers steve1 point

Lol, I like this, it really goes to show that there are only so many ways to make something that goes through the air as aerodynamically as possible. However, even though I am a massive classic car fan, I would never have a Princess over an A2. However, I would have the SD1 over an A7 any day. I love the front on the A7 but the back is not to my personal taste. I actually do a few car reviews (for a hobby) for a local publication. It gets quite difficult talking about advances in technologies etc etc when you are quoting 50 mpg combined when an Austin A35 with a 948cc used to do that 5 decades ago. In truth, only Honda being quite daring with the new Civic is so different with its styling and a 3 cylinder turbo 998cc engine that produces 129PS makes it stand out from a very crowded market place of similar looking cars. Yes there are others but my point is there aren't that many. From a distance it's hard to tell a Skoda VRS from an Audi A4!?! But saying all that, I would still have my 11 year old A6 with it's vinyl wrap, its angry sounding engine and crap fuel consumption if driven with a bad attitude 😈 Over many a modern car. Each to their own I guess!1 point
