After almost 4 months of waiting I finally collected a couple of days ago. Despite luke warm customer service from my dealer im delighted with the car. Took a leap of faith with the colour having never seen an A3 in Nano Grey but it looks the cats pyjamas ☺ Not had much opportunity to drive it yet but initial signs are good, I think the 1.5tsi is going to be more than capable.1 point

After looking round i have found this and may seriously consider it a bit expensive but can always come with me should i ever change cars Thinkware F770 Full HD 1080p with super night vision. Front and rear dash cam Sony Exmor CMOS Sensor https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thinkware-1080p-super-vision-Sensor/dp/B01LKCSR881 point

I have the Nextbase 112. Some insurance companies have reduced insurance for Nextbase cameras. It records in 3 minute videos and overwrites when the card is full. It has collision detection so locks the current video if in an accident. It also starts recording if your car moves like someone hitting it in a car park. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=306753&productId=1283126&storeId=100011 point

I`m looking into fitting a dash cam in my car to cover me in an accident, its just a matter of which one the market seems flooded with them now and i dont want an expensive one if i can help it, not worried about a mic on or off i`m a calm person and dont really react to anything thats going to get me into a road rage situation currently looking at buying this one DOUBLE CAMERA DIGITAL JOURNEY RECORDER http://www.autochoicedirect.co.uk/product/streetwize-double-camera-digital-journey-recorder/1 point

Yeah, so far so good. I just don't trust car dealers ! 😂 On a brighter note I absolutely love this car , it's my first nice car Iv ever had and it was a good choice, once I get the wheels done in black I'll stick a photo up1 point

Thanks mate, the dealership said i could take it in to get it looked at and payfor it tomorrow so ill see what the outcome of that is!1 point

Hi, thanks for coming back to me. I'm convinced the swap has happened there as I bought the car from the dealer 18 months ago as a ex demonstrator and, with the exception of having two new tyres fitted on the front by Event Tyres (who are always excellent and who I have used for years), the car has never been anywhere else. Thanks for the suggestion and I will be checking the casting marks tonight and hopefully that'll throw something up. Anyway, the dealership has a number of branches and franchises, however remains family owned and run. A swift check on "LinkedIn" and I tracked down a director and I have exchanged details with him this afternoon. I'll let you know what happens. Ian1 point

Hello Chris, Nasty. Apologies if I'm being a bit thick, but is this second? episode recent, and can I take it the Audi tester has retained the defective tyres this time for Dunlop's attention? Kind regards, Gareth.1 point

A little update on my last post - enabled Audi Online and had a play while on Holiday. Sucked 7GB of data in a week or so! Virgin did not send an SMS warning of going past data limit either... so £2 excess usage fee until I called them - fees dropped due to SMS error... Beware Audi online - tis greedy!0 points
