Mark cousins, a fellow member on the Facebook group has organised a rolling road day for him and some friends and he has invited members from the club along too! The rolling road day is on Sunday 22nd October at 9am. Venue: Street Racers, Syston Mills, Mill Lane, Syston, LE7 1NS There are 9 cars confirmed myself included and tickets are £30 (pay on the day) the rolling road is AWD friendly so those with Quattro are more than welcome :) from the club there are: 1. mark cousins (TT rs) 2. just out of interest are any members films buffs, i certainly am i have more films than you can shake a stick at, the wife hates the fact i keep buying films lol i mostly buy box sets my most watched are 24 and Sons of Anarchy, my oldest is Soldier Soldier some of our older members may remember this TV series

OK Jason, I'm not sure where the logic comes from that opening the filler cap while under pressure will cause a vacuum. The system is under pressure, and I guess it is now realised that opening this cap when the coolant is hot is not what you want to do with respect to your safety, but you've done it now, but not the thing to do. Always leave the system cool naturally before opening the cap and adding any coolant. I certainly would not drain and refill the system at this stage. It will only introduce another variable - as well as air! Have you done or do you intend to do as I suggested with the heater hoses? Kind regard, Gareth.

Hey mark, sorry to hear your having issues with your a8. By any chance havenyou got vagcom? I ask as I believe in other Audi models the auto lock feature could be programmed in at a later date. IM telling you this as the system may just need resetting. In failing that I would suspect a sensor has failed that tells the car when to lock. Your best bet is to get it plugged in for a diagnostic check if you haven't got vagcom. Hope iv helped cheers steve

M*A*S*H is worth a viewing both the film and the TV series which resulted from a sequel to the film failing! I'm hoping you seen "Band of Brothers", probably without doubt the best military themed TV series ever produced :)
