  1. Hi I have seen that a rolling road session has been set up, but leicester is about a 3 hour drive for me. I have found http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk , based in Farnborough, and they do a session for £40. They seem to run these on a regular basis on a saturday. Is there any interest out there for a southern area meet here? Let me know and I would be happy to organise something. Regards, Graham ***************UPDATE**************** Confirmed details are as follows. The date has changed to a week later 13th Jan 2018 I have booked an hour session 10.30 - 11.30 for 4 cars. 2 have confirmed Audi A3 with re-map Audi S4 with re-map 2 yet to confirm. If there is anyone else interested please let me know.

  9. Jay. In that case the starter and battery have nothing to do with the problem. Without far more detail one can only speculate about the cause. For the engine to fire it needs three things: [1] Compression. Are the valves or rings worn? A compression test would give you the answer. [2] Fuel. Has the fuel filter been changed recently? Is the pump delivering enough pressure? Are the injectors working properly? [3] Air. Has the air filter been changed recently?

  16. Jay. Are you saying it is reluctant to turn over, or it turns over well but is reluctant to fire?

  19. Hey, sorry for the delay in replying to this thread! I have a resolution to the issue, after being flat refused by the dealership for them to do a swap under warranty, I went to Audi Customer services, they took it up with the dealership. After much too-ing and fro-ing, they finally conceded and did a full swap out FOC for a new trim in Piano Black. Whilst I was having it done, a few of the tech's made some comments about they are having a lot of issues with this particular trim, one saying 'it would be better if they used butter!!!!' So it is clearly a known issue, now I've had it repaired I think this sets a precedent for others who have the same issue. Good Luck Mark
