  1. Thanks guys, some good tips here. I'm going to look at two this Saturday. Luckily one is near my Honda tuner so i can get him to have a look at that one. Wish me luck!

  2. Not quite this clean now mind!!! Gotta say so impressed with it, the previous owner had done some nice little mods too (S3 Mirrors, all round tinted windows, Zenon headlights which are awesome) I've added an armrest (sadly not an official Audi one as they are rather pricey!) Feel like i robbed the guy to be honest, so much car and quality for the money and 47mpg! Bargain!

  3. Right ... firstly audi a6 c6 does not like led...ive been resarching this subject for 3 years... if you dont have good resistors/canelers it will show errors on the dash and hyperflash even when the car is off as the system is checking reguraly for faulty bulbs . Have you got halogen or xenon headlights ? Idealy you want to connect them to the original drl in the headlights so it operates correctly. You could also wire them in to the fog lights and using vcss code fog as drl ( but you will lose fogs) Last option is to wire them to the sidelights But biggest pain is the error and hyperflash

  4. Basic models could have coil sprung suspension but higher spec cars could have air suspension, don't forget that certain parts of the world though the car would have to run on leaf springs to fit into the pickup category. This applies in certain parts of asia such a Thailand. Quattro is a must in both manual and automation form. I think engine wise you'd want decent sized diesels not like the 4 cylinders the Merc x class will start off with! So 3.0 v6 tdi, 4.2tdi or at a push petrol wise the 2.9 litre petrol out of the RS4 or similar. or the v8/v10 out of the r8 for the middle eastern markets. Spec wise sticking with the current formula of se, s line, black edition would work fine I think. One problem with the Volkswagen pickup is the size of load space and weight it can carry which is less than it's competitors. This I feel would need addressing especially when competing against Mercedes. Hope IV helped abit and not bored you to death! Do you work.for Audi by any chance! ;) Cheers Steve

  5. Thanks Trevor for your reply. I suspected this would be the case but am I better speaking to Audi uk or Audi Germany? I would like to think they keep good records! Cheers Steve

  6. Ensure the cambelt and water pump were changed. It should have been done at about 70000 miles.
