  1. Hi guys, Used to own an Audi 80 coupe but I have since regrettably sold her on, 2 instrument units and the innards of the door for the electric windows which are taking up space. I would be happy to give them away to anyone that will give them a good home. one cluster is a VDO unit bought from ebay with 125k miles on the clock, the other with 84k miles on the clock UN4 unit part number 8A0190A. none of the items have ever been tested by me but you can't really complain if they're free! I am based in the Leeds area so let me know if interested. Thanks Russ

  2. Hello! Bought my A4 back in May to replace my Mk5 Golf GT TDI 170 with a very full and poorly DPF. So far a new set of Bridgestone boots to get rid of the ditch finders the previous owner put on to get it through the MOT, looking forward to getting a remap and possibly an exhaust if I can find one that doesnt drone at cruising speed but brings out the noise of the S-Tronic gear changes- reccomendations greatfully recieved! 225 BHP feels quicker than it should which I guess is down to the awd so a remap should make it amazing I hope, though not keen on the price of the REVO one at £599. Road trips so far - been to Brugges for a long weekend and Morzine mountain biking - no numb bums, no tinitus from droney road noise - amazing car to cruise across country in, get there feeling pretty fresh! The only down side is that its a bit thrstier than I thought it would be but its tollerable and its a little bit wallowy in the bends but its a cruiser really so you cant have it all I guess! Hope you guys like....

  3. Which ever car you get you will love it. The C6 is a lovely car. While I own a 2.7TDI it's only because I have wanted the V6 2.7 for several years now and don't regret buying it. The 3.0 version has about 40bhp more but seems to be slightly more problematic than the 2.7 but that may just be because more 3.0's have been sold, therefore more to report back on!?! Comparing the the 2.7 to the 2.0 though is a funny one. The power output is very similar -170 -180bhp but the V6 is smother while you have to keep the 2.0 in the 'sweet spot' while accelerating. The only re-occurring issue I am aware of is the turbo can go around 60-70k (experienced this in 2 out of 3 2.0 in the past). Then the common fault with all Dervs is the DPF regen issues. Pot luck on that one but in my mind gives a great excuse to blast the engine from time to time. I choose a higher spec C6 a couple years older, the only real difference between them is the lights. Will it bug you that you can tell your car is a pre facelift? Then by the newer car. If you would prefer leather, sat nav heated seats etc etc then buy the older car. mine now has 167k on it and is still pulling like a train 🚂. No regrets at all. Hope that helps a bit.

  5. 😂 undo the 2 bolts holding the front seat assembly to the floor, move the seat forward and the whole thing pivots backwards into the rear seat area. The battery is under a cover with spring clips on then held in place by a 10mm bolt clamp. Takes 30 - 45 minutes
