I go along with James' advice of always checking with your insurers before doing anything such thing- it could otherwise result in a serious monetary discontent, or indeed a straight refusal to even quote. Extra power is fine, but if I was seriously considering having a car remapped, then I would make sure that the air filter, fuel filter, oil and oil filters are all renewed beforehand with good quality components. Otherwise it's a bit like buying and wearing a posh new suit and having ragged underpants! Kind regards, Gareth.

I have read a lot of posts recently about water in the footwells etc... so i looked on my a6 c6 drains under the windscreen. Shocking😱😱😱 !!! Check yours to aviod water damage ! Drain is located under the 2 cilinders Cleaned like new ::)

Hello Karen, A couple of possible pointers for you (apologies if you have already been there):- Try registering your 'wants' with the secondhand car parts search companies with which scrap yards, nationally, link into . Any holding the parts you want will then contact you. One is Partsgateway or Partsfinder ( or similar) I think, but you will find more on a search. Tried good old E.Bay? I think you will have to expand your search to the correct panels in any colour. Obtaining the correct colour is likely to be very much of a long shot, and even if you do, you will inevitably find the panels will have storage marks and will need to be refinished anyway. I would also suggest thinking before about insurance - I found a lot of insurers wouldn’t touch as it’s a modification, so you end up with a very small pond of specialist insurers.

Well , looks like weather might be ok ! Let’s hope so 🌞 Brother in law had decided to join us , as he’s running a TT with stage 1 , Hopefully will try and meet up at one of the meet points traffic permitting and if I can get the wife up and organised hahah looking forward to it hope it will be fun , does anyone know if Audi Uk will be attending? Audi's Motorsport boss Dieter Gass had admitted that the new aerodynamic regulations will disadvantage Audi in the up and coming 2018 season. This disadvantage is most likely help Audi's rivals Mercedes who lost out to Audi last year to Audi as Audi won both the teams and manufacturers titles last year. The new rules decrease the level of downforce by approximately 1/3. At least this will make the race season even more entertaining to watch! Audi have released a teaser image of the new Q8 model which is set for release at the Beijing motor show. The 18TH debute also coincides with the 30th year of Audi car production in China. Audi has teamed up with the French company Global bioengergies to develop bio fuel which can be used in Audi petrol engines.the fuel comprises of 34% of fermented plants and produces far less co2 compared to fossil fuels. The added benefit of this fuel compared to.otger biofuels is that the car does not need to be modified so in.order to run on the fuel. Both companies have been testing the fuel in a petrol Audi A4 on a racetrack with good results.
