  1. Hi James & welcome. Sorry to hear you are having the same issues. Like yourself I had 2 full sets of tyres split. As I only had video and photographic evidence Dunlop refused to admit fault. However, as Dunlop are now admitting that there is indeed issues with their tyres then perhaps there is a legal argument that can be made? It’s scary to think that the small number that have found this forum and raised their concerns. Undoubtedly there are1000’s more of these cars and tyres on the road & It will only be a matter of time before statistics come into play there will be a catastrophic failure of these tyres resulting in serious injuries or worse. Especially seeing they are the cheaper tyre for sale on most tyre websites. Chris.

  3. Hi James, If you are In dire straits the only approach at the moment is to contact Dunlop directly and have them returned for inspection. If you want to get independent advice speak to a local tyre trader. These tyres can be collected for free I believe, understand the length of time it takes. but then you are talking nearly 400 quid a side if you don’t shop around it becomes very expensive. I think we all here totally have sympathy for your issues, but the only real way to force the issue is to contact them (dunlop) with a complaint to get the ball rolling. Its a pain but best to be safe than sorry. Best of luck.πŸ‘

  8. I am currently looking at purchasing a 2015 3.0 TDI and whilst looking at three models with different bhp ratings, 218, 245 and 272, I would like to know if this is just a tuning restriction or is there a significant difference between the engines? I ask because a Stage 1 remap reports that all three models will be 320bhp after the remap. The 218 is far cheaper on tax as the co'2 emissions are rated a lot lower compared to the 272. If there is no real difference then I may as well purchase a 218 model. Just curious as I was looking at the 272 model to be honest. Steve.

  9. Hello I Have looked into the Active Exhaust for my 2013 A7, after loads of research decided to order a genuine cat back exhaust with the speakers from Audi dealership and have them fit it, cost Β£2008, also ordered a Kuafatec module and remote direct from kaufatec Germany which I will fit once exhaust is fitted. Only problem is 6+ weeks for exhaust delivery. I looked at hazzydayz online they do complete package, kaufatec partners in Milton Keynes do it aswell, possibly weld speakers on, not recommended, both are slightly cheaper than the route I’ve gone but I want it looking factory fit, genuine. There is no phone app for the kaufatec module but you can adjust/set sounds with a usb connected to the module using a laptop, there is a free software you can download from the kaufatec website. To choose different sounds use remote or tap cruise control stalk to desired sound. Hope this helps. https://www.hazzydayz.com/audi-active-sports-exhaust-7620-p.asp https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/sound-booster-pro/audi/complete-set-active-sound-incl-sound-booster-audi-a6-a7-4g https://www.sound-booster.com/en/sets/finder.html

  10. Just a quick update, got a call from the Audi garage, there is an issue with the cam shaft which they will repair under warranty. A quick look online and there seems to have been a couple issues with the timing and sensors on cam shafts. Just waiting to hear from garage regards a time frame for the repairs. Got a brand new Audi A4 S line as a replacement, which is nice (ish) but its not my A7 :(
