  1. So after a week of battling with Audi Uk, Nottingham and Dunlop, I am no further forward, my car is still undriveable and no one has been in touch for 48 hours! Can I ask anyone that has been affected to write to watchdog, it takes 5 mins to fill in the form on their contact us page which I have done. I have paid to increase my Twitter feeds to Dunlop and Audi/Audi media and I’m going to contact the press. I know I’m new to the forum but the only way we can stop someone dying or getting seriously injured is to fight this together if you have time to support this? Any one that has been through this knows it takes time and has cost you hundreds to resolve, whilst being put in danger, we should also be compensated for this Many thanks James

  2. Hello Lynne, Sorry to hear of your problems. My stab at it - based on it being unlikely to be individual fuses since there are a number of circuits affected - would obviously be to consider one 'control' which is common to all the affected circuits. I might be completely wrong, particularly due to the age of the car, but I would ask, are the electrics controlled by a 'body control unit'? i.e. a BCU (similar concept to ECU with 'engine control unit'). Perhaps the car is too old for that - I don't know- but no doubt someone else on here will be far more familiar with this than I am. Kind regards, Gareth.

  3. Hi Lynne, assuming you've checked the fuses and had the battery checked my advice would be to either get a diagnostic check carried out or get an auto electrician have a look.
