  1. I had an awful problem with water flooding the passenger footwell of a 2007 Q7 a bit of research online and there is a bung plug that gets clogged up, simple to fix wheel off remove some of the arch liner (about 4 star screws) on the bulkhead side of the car and you can get to the rubber bung plug pulled this out and an unbelievable amount of water came pouring out i would guess at 3-4 litres looking at the garage floor, cleaned the bung plug which was blocked and pulled some leaves out of the hole, bung back in and wheel arch liner and water leak now fixed there is also one on the drivers side i think so will tackle this next just in case this side is blocked as well.

  3. Hi Gareth, i had already arranged for a spark to come out. plugged in and car did not recognise my key, he priced with a well know Audi trade supplier £780 for new ignition lock, he found on ebay repair kits(micro switches and relay) £45-£85. Hopefully the cheaper option will fix the problem, Key is currently working. Thanks for the advice David

  4. Sure enough a new ignition coil sorted this instantly. For good measure I had all 4 and a new set of plugs replaced. The error on the dash also disappeared. That's one ticked off. Thanks all 👍

  5. Teenagers and reliability ? Just not possible. I myself have now seen the winder rotate in both directions. Curiously, though, I see it rotate much more anti clockwise than the other way, but at least it does swing both ways, if you’ll pardon the pun. cheers
