  2. Hi mate, you are right with Mr Sinclair's Empire hahaha, I have basically done that today, took it for an 'Italian service' and both the warning lights are off the dashboard and the car is running smoothly, so I am assuming that it is fine for now anyway. Thank you very much for your help, much appreciated. Ryan.

  4. Hi Gareth, Cheers for the reply! Yeah, that's exactly what I've found. Thanks for sanity checking my thoughts! I didn't realise plastic welding was a thing, so cheers for opening my eyes to this. Will look into it, and definitely get in touch with a couple of local places. Sounds like it's certainly a workable option, and would remove the need to find a matching bumper! re: insurance - I know - I may or may not have had little bumps in the past that weren't notified, and covered out of my own pocket, but I have no idea what was going on in my head at the time of calling them this time 🤦‍♂️. Thanks for your time 🙂 Rich

  5. Hey Gareth, Yes, they replaced the water pump and aux belt. From what i can gather, its a whole new engine, but i was curious if it would simply be the engine block itself, or other parts such as turbo, cat etc? I was initially told it was £11,000, then when i got a call back i was told it was upwards of £20,000. The tensioner was sent away to Audi technical for examination.
