  1. Was speaking to a committee member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club (Leicester branch) and he's invited us as a club to bring our cars to one of their monthly meetings which happens every third Tuesday of the month at Beadles Lake golf Club, once restrictions are lifted. Might be a good way for us to all meet up, grab a beer abd have a knatter about cars. Let me know if any of you bare interested.

Almost certainly the problem is an air lock created when the thermostat was changed. The coolant system should have been vented by the mechanic who did the work, so I suggest you take it back and get him to finish the job properly as it can be a devil of a job to do yourself.

Thanks for that Steve. The work on the injector has already been done I’m afraid and the bearing is being changed tomorrow I believe with the intention of me getting the car back Thursday or Friday. But the thought did occur to me earlier about getting back in touch with the AA and asking them to send me what their recovery driver initially diagnosed and then presenting that to the garage when I go to collect my car. I’ll keep you posted on the outcome of any disagreement. Including length of jail time I receive for handing out some lefts and rights haha.
  4. Yep intending to go to this one too ☺️ they're literally a week apart. Will be booking a hotel for simply Audi.
