  1. I'd refit the original ones to see if it's a wiring issue,or an issue with the new ones.

  2. I personally think it's the quattro system which is the key advantage for any performance Audi. I appreciate it adds extra weight and slows down a 0-60 time compared to rwd but the benefits are more grip in the corners etc.

  4. Maybe, it’s got two years warranty, would probably wait till that’s run out before I did a re map. I used to have a VW caddy maxi, that I used as my daily and trackday van. It was brilliant. You could fit a sports bike and all the gear in for a couple of days away and get your head down in the back. Wish I still had it to be honest. The things you give up for your kids. 🤣 I had it remapped and it transformed it. Better economy and more power. What’s not to like?

  7. My last 2 purchases were from dealers at a distance from me. I was prepared to travel for the car I wanted. Both were VW and Audi approved cars from dealers and so I expected to get any niggles sorted out at my local dealer. In the case of my Q5 I bought it unseen and undriven from Lincoln - in fact due to Covid rules a test drive would have been a major operation. I had previously test driven one in 2020 and have had Audis before so my risk was less than the OP on this thread. Everyone has their own opinion on risk (as I'm sure we have on lockdowns and pandemics) I felt that a 2.5 year old, single owner, low mileage car from an Audi dealer was an acceptable risk. So far I have no complaints but I agree that the method is not for everyone!
