  1. Hi strip off the Gaffer and clean round the edge with isopropyl, get some latex gloves and fill in any bits where its let go with Tiger Seal and before it sets smooth it with a tea spoon dipped in white spirit, practice on a small area first it won't be pretty but it will be more waterproof than the tape. 2. Hi Roy, as I said you are not useless its merely you convincing yourself you can't do it before you attempt the task calm down and go practice with the VCDS scanning etc, as long as you don't muck about with the codings you will gradually become more confident as you use it, case in point you managed to reset your clock through the green menu which I personally would not go near as on the later models you can fry the MMI if you get it wrong. 3. Hello Steve, Thanks for being in touch. Re. bonding the screen? Google Classic car Trimmers in your area - they should be fully equipped to deal with that for you. If you cannot find any trimmers, then it’s worth asking one of the principals at a local classic car club. Kind regards, Gareth.

  4. Hi steve. I just wanted to let you know after starting my car the last 3 times, no adblue warning beep and no yellow spanner. But the engine management light stayed on. Then on the way to liverpool the eml went out too. So it looks like adblue level has dropped and everything has now reset itself. It was a good sign yesterday the countdown going up instead of down. So i wont be doing that again. Next time i get warning im just putting 10lts in cos i know from first time that was ok. Cheers for everything. Take care. Bye. Terry.
