  1. Years ago, after my warranty ran out on my A6 Avant I decided to do my own oil change, What a chor to have to remove the under tray just to change the oil. I decided to do something about it, so I cut an access hole in the under tray. Oil changes are now so easy.

  2. I've had a look and I can't see anything obvious but that's just me, there are a few parts look like a banana 🤭.... wouldve thought it would have a proper name, find out tomorrow.... wondering if its this as its the only thing I can see which is big enough to warrent the cost?

  3. Clever that! Most cars loose their undertrays over time. I'm looking at getting a steel one for protect the underside better.

  4. Cheers Gareth, will definatly get a 2nd opinion. I was quite shocked when they told me both needed changing. Car only has 35k miles so is certainly no high mileage, seller told me he had never had it offroad but suppose I can only take him at his word for that... 🤔 Wouldn't care, I changed the front discs and pads as they were in a poor state presumably due to lack of use? While inside the wheel arch I thought everything looked like new, no signs of any rough use underneath and the side running boards etc have no marks on the underside.

  5. I was told the same thing when mine had gone in last week. Audi UK, told me yesterday that they have another version and are testing it on few cars.

  6. Yes it was, so booked mine in, went to collect it, and found they had not done it. Seem they had updated two cars before mine and it had totally killed both of them. Turns out Audi have withdrawn the update, so back where we started and still waiting for a fix to all our MMI problems !
