  1. No probs at all, don't worry my A6 will come fighting back one way or another. Just hope the sump didn't push into the bottom of the block. That's my biggest fear.

  2. Always worth buying once and wisely with batteries Jon. I only buy brands and grades that have a minimum of 4 year warranties. I tend to buy mine on line from specialist suppliers at competitive prices. Don’t forget to get it coded to the car. Kind regards, Gareth.

  3. Thank you. The car battery voltage has been reducing for several months. It's now on 11.9V so I'll tackle the heated seat when I replace the battery in a few weeks, and report back.

  5. I think you might struggle as don't the AC system have to be worked on by a professional due to the harmful gasses entering the atmosphere

  6. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Lovely looking car 👍 I'd recommend speaking to local auto locksmiths. Also there are plenty of shows this year where we're having club displays. You'd be more than welcome to display your Audi with us. Have a look under the events section. First show is 16th April. Simply Audi at beaulieu, it's the best show of the season.

  7. Hi I love things like this as it denies the Audi Stealers their lives blood, overcharging they probably get the filters for about a fiver each, they never change the filter and if left it causes all sorts of other problems, by rights an air filter should be changed every year regardless of milage as no one has microscope eyeballs that can see how blocked the filter medium pores are, think about it, more cleaner air so the ECU is not constantly correcting the injector factors to allow for the lack of it. Steve.

  8. First time poster as I’m just looking at getting the first service on my A4 35 TFSI. Which is lovely. Service plans seem to be pretty rubbish in my use case. I’ve had the car less than a year and covered 17k miles. Oil change service is now due and is £280. That’s dear, but around what I was expecting. But wait, I’m due an inspection service at 20k miles which is another £300! For which I get a pollen filter change. Audi recommend I get the two services done together. So first year’s service on a brand new car with 17k miles is £580. I’ve been to the main dealer today to ask about the service plan to see if that would make things better. They were really helpful but confirmed that the service plans are basic and cover only two oil change services and an inspection service (inc pollen filter). You pay £22.50 over two years, so £540 in total. But it ONLY covers those ‘three’ services (2 x oil and 1 x pollen filter) regardless of whether or not you will use up these services in less time than it takes to pay for them. Worse, brake fluid is extra, as is the auto box service, pads and everything else consumable. So, over the next two years at 17k miles p.a. I’d still need another inspection service on top of the service plan, plus all the extras like brake fluid, plugs, box service and fluid and so on. So seems like the plan is only worthwhile if you want to break the payments down and do less than 10k miles per year. And you’d still need to budget for some extras like brake fluid and plugs. It’s a marginal benefit if you’re not low mileage. As the software updates itself OTA, seems crazy not to go to an indy. Any recommendations in Herts / Bucks? Thanks in advance!

  10. Well crap, there goes the sump 🤦‍♂️ on the plus side at least the car is drained of oil for its service which is due In the next 3 weeks. Plus the underside is well oiled, which should prevent rust for the next 10 years 😂
