Hi Gareth, Thank you very much for your feed back, I would much rather be aware of something now than after it's all to late. New cars lose so much money in the first few years anyway and with sky high Audi finance rates of 10.5% at the moment, it's been a tough call. I will keep searching, thank you2 points

I wouldn't call it a flawed design, in fact I'd say it is rather clever, however no machine lasts for ever. Yours has lasted 13 years so if you use rear screen wash normally through the new motor it will likely outlast the rest of the car.2 points

Hi I seriously doubt they are original but they are well past their sell by date, thank you for publishing this as it might well wake up a few others to the benefits of regular brake checks, also if you change the brake fluid every couple of years that has a really big impact on pad/disc wear. Hi yes it appeared to have 2 failed injectors which didn’t bring up any codes on the vcds. bought 2 injectors which supposedly were tested and good but 1 was faulty, the car runs now but has a slightly misfire and still smells but thinking of driving the car to see if the ecu learn the driving characteristics and sorts itself out do you have a similar issue? Maybe I can help1 point

Going into workshop tonight will inform of outcome .... Only thing saying no to dmf is no vibration through peddle when stationery and peddle is pressed all other issues suggest the dmf ...1 point

Disconnected gps and charged battery now seems to work as it should Ordered cheapo gps antenna off fleebay possibly battery issue as its original 2013 unit.1 point
