  1. Hi is there no independent garages near you, Audi specialists/Kwikfit are the biggest shower of thieving its on the planet Kwikfit are wary of doing anything that might get the workshop dirty and the other monkeys will try and create work, so suggest you get a third party to have a look assuming its conventional power steering not electric could be someone has unclipped the wiring to the sensor. 6. Thanks for your reply. Local dealer helpful. First thing to try is to hold the start button down for longer as there are three areas below the start button that need to talk to the system. There have been other reports. Fingers crossed!

  8. Thank you. One garage said they've been struggling to source the parts. So might do a proper engine swap. You've made a great job with yours 🙂

  9. Simply Audi 2022 Once again it was a cracking show with a great selection of audis. Weather was good. It's such a good value ticket price of £16 as you gain access to the show, museum and manor house. Thanks to everyone who attended, it was great to meet friends both old and new and im looking forward to next year's show. Here's a few pics:

  10. Hello Alex, Many thanks for the additional information. It has been said that the last suffix letter is simply a later dated derivative of exactly the same part, and not wishing to raise differences of opinion, I can only restate that I believe that claim to be too broad brush, but I still keep an open mind with that being correct for some parts. I have come across the ‘non availability’ of aftermarket equivalents for VAG products, and obviously the acid test would be to physically compare the …….L with your current ….T. Has your flywheel been removed from the car yet? If this were mine, I would first be getting in touch with LUK/Sachs technical department and seeking advice and hopefully - some drawing dimensions which may clarify. The necessary experience should be there. If you find this is indeed a VAG only part, then I do have a couple of contacts where a discount may apply. Perhaps you could come back to us with your findings Alex. Kind regards, Gareth.

  11. Hi Gareth, thanks for replying I have been told that only the 0B2105266T fits my engine/gearbox combination… find it hard to believe as that’s likely a rebranded LUK/Sachs that’s already on the market… there are lots of LuK/Sachs DMFs online but the last letter of the equivalent OEM code doesn’t marry up (T)… for example one may be 0B2105266L I know the 0B2105266T is a 280mm flywheel, and Sachs have a 280mm for the CJCB engine… but for a MVS gearbox.. the sachs one is £375 and the 0B2105266T is over £1000 plus VAT… bit of a head scratcher!
