  1. Many thanks Steve 1 and Steve 2! Sorry I have only just seen these responses - it's in the garage today so I forwarded your comments in case it helps them. Waiting for the dreaded phone call! Will post an update if there is anything interesting to report

Very reluctant sale solely due to London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) being expanded in the next few months, meaning it would cost £12.50 a day to use the car within the zone. The car has been very well maintained in the 19 years of ownership. It has just been down to Cornwall and back without a hitch. Lots of life left in this car and it has served us well. No known mechanical issues. No warning lights. No oil leaks. Never been in any kind of accident or collision. The paintwork is in great overall condition and the car has been garaged for the majority of its life. Aircon blows nice and cold. 2 key fobs and plastic key. Interior condition is good. Headlining had minor sagging and has just been repaired with studs. Rear seats both have ISOFIX anchors installed. Stuff I’ve noticed: Small bit of rust to bottom edge of n/s front door edge. Unsure if this is trim or edge or door. Light cluster housing cracked - rear n/s. Lower door trim spacing off - n/s front door. Small scratch to n/s rear where bumper meets body. Minor scuffs to one alloy. Usual age wear to drivers seat. Stone chips you’d expect for a car this age. There is a whole ring binder of invoices. I have lots more photos showing condition and invoices. Please DM and I’ll provide a Google Drive link. Inspection welcome Location is Wimbledon, London.

  3. Hello Luiz, Without wishing to be patronising, if you have looked after this car as well as you’ve written the description - and I’m sure you have - then someone is in for a good buy. I really hope it finds a home where it will continue to be appreciated. Good luck with finding it a good home, although I don’t think you will need it. Kind regards, Gareth.

  5. Hi head gaskets do not always put water in to the oil it is more the other way where gas is introduced in to the cooling system and via the exhaust gas escape water can get back the other way in to a cylinder, ask the garage to do a sniff test on the header tank, this involves !Removed! an adapter with a reservoir of the testing fluid to the expansion tank then run idle for 20 mins, the fluid will change colour if it detects exhaust gas, I agree with Steve a full scan is your best route. Steve.
