  2. Thanks for your advice Steve. It took a while to get around to fixing the problem. Seemed to be leak at the base of the windscreen. Used some sealant, put back the carpet and it seems fine now. Thanks again.

  3. Not sure if this is of any use, but I have an A6 Avant Quattro with a 2.5TDI AKE engine, that runs perfectly. I'm selling the entire car for £1000. It has a dead auto gearbox. Interior is cream leather, black dash and trim, front heated and electric seats, xenon lights, Dolphin grey in colour. A lovely car, just cannot find a replacement gearbox. I have a Manual 2.5TDI C5 Allroad too, and an A4 B6 1.9TDI Avant Quattro. Love this era of Audi. Let me know if this interests you Steve

  4. Hello Gideon, When you say an aftermarket clutch kit isn’t available, have you tried to find out what elements of the 4 pieces aren’t available - flywheel, clutch driver plate, pressure plate, release bearing/ slave cylinder? If not, it would be worth contacting LUK technical and enquiring there. Some of the parts may indeed be available as individual components. Kind regards, Gareth.

  5. Luckily electric cars won't become the dominant fuel choice in my opinion. Average household has 4 cars so infrastructure couldn't cope. Unless their plan is to stop us all driving which won't surprise me. Especially with the 15 minute cities, zone thing the corrupt, tyrants want to bring in.

  7. Hi easiest way to prime the filter is sit in car turn the ignition on and off six or seven times without starting the engine [no clutch depressed] and the lift pump will prime it for you, only run the ignition on for ten seconds at time. Steve.
