  1. It all seems to be working fine holds pressure no problem just will not select any level other than the lowest. I took off the valve block to have a look and the car went very low but on reassembly the pump kicked in and raised it to the lower level again. I suspect its the Suspension Control Unit thats goosed.

  2. Thanks, I did have a dig around and found the top part of the engine bay under the wipers has years worth of bushes and all sorts of debris clogging it up, I've cleared it out and found a drainage hole that was blocked and so far it seems to have been the answer.

  3. The noise is… vaccuum oil pump. Replace. Bottom of engine. An issue of failure at anytime with 2.0 diesels old or new.

  4. Hello Dale, The wiring on this has certainly been played around with, and Steve is probably right that non standard connections may eventually lead you to the source. Probably a bit basic, but it could be worth eliminating the wiring in the flexible harness section twixt body and boot - can be the source of fractured wires. Unlikely, but worth a coat of looking at and eliminating. Kind regards, Gareth.
