  1. Hi all just introducing myself, picked up out Sprint Blue S4 cabriolet a few weeks back love it. It's been kept fairly standard just woth the addition of milltek system and the plan is to keep it that way. Very clean FSH oil change every 5-8000miles no chain rattle yet fingers crossed.......

  2. Please tell me if you think I’m being harsh by commenting that time effort and experience has been devoted here to no avail since the OP simply hasn’t returned to view any responses. Let’s hope he’s OK. Kind regards, Gareth.

  3. I had my Battery replaced by my Audi Servicing people - wasn't cheap but it did resolve intermittent unusual dash lights... New Battery has to be coded to tell the car it is new and so not to overcharge it... I have an OBDEleven for my car to view/delete codes, as well as perform customisations, if you want/need a suggestions for a cheaper alternative to expensive diagnostics equipment... Hope you get it resolved. You definitely made the better choice with the Four Rings badge! 😋 🤣

  4. Sorry guys for late update. No the added gasket did'nt make any difference. I am still getting water between the the boot lid and the liner. None in the boot its self. Never had water there. Have now tried everything I can think of. New light gaskets, black tape around the rear lights and boot body, and the fitting of the new gasket as per my last post. I've checked that the screws on the number plate are watertight. Put making chalk on the boot sealing rubber to make sure that when the boot is closed it makes contact with seal all the way round. What to do now I wonder?????

  5. Hi Martin, I got a slightly lower price at £220 from an independent garage for the spark plugs. And in the end i decided to do this myself (£50 for plugs and 1.5 hours of my time which i could have done it in 30 minutes TBH). Which some say i am crazy to do whilst my car is still under warranty, but i'd like to think i'd take more care (I am a little OCD), and hey, it's been going fine for the last 2k miles. Some not so great pictures if you wanted to do yourself. I agree with Gareth, do you air filter as well. You can do this for £10 for the filter and 30 minutes of your time. Again, i've done this myself twice already. Crazy that Audi recommend for me to change the air filter every 60k miles. Thanks, Joe

  7. Apologies, I've just re-read your post, should have read it properly the first time 🤦‍♂️ If it's just first gear could it be a linkage? My wife has this similar issue on her Corsa many years ago. Engine wise, plans are afoot to get it back in the road. Early days yet but watch this space 😉
