  1. Hi Paul, 2 litres in 3 weeks is a lot of coolant, and what do you mean burnt up? In the cylinders? That would not be possible (in my opinion). My trouble shooting suggestion (with extra care of course), is to top up the coolant when the engine is cold. Get the engine up to temperature (90degrees) with the bonnet open. Because the coolant system is under pressure and at temperature, you should be able to see 'leaks' or 'steam'. You may want a second person to rev the engine as the water pump If you have an undertray, possibly remove that, as that could be catching the coolant? Again, be careful. Thanks, Joe

  2. Thanks for your reply Gareth, I did replace my battery about 18 months ago so I don't think this would cause the issue but I will check it

  3. There is a black plastic cover at front of engine think clip on either side then lifts out to see belt. Did get mine done £460 including water pump and coolant flush.

  4. According to this it'll take 4 litres. However there's two parts of the gearbox that take 2 different types of oil. https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-b9-platform-discussion-212/b9-transmission-fluid-change-no-3033044/
