  1. Hi, I’ve recently bought an audi a4 2016. Round about 4 months since I purchased it. Today i went to Audi dealership for a health check and system update. I was then told that a system update cannot be done because the car was remapped. They are saying that it is not advisable to reverse the remapping because it will damage the ECU in the long term. Audi is suggesting that replacing the ECU is the only way to bring the car back to factory. This option is costy!! The dealership i bought the car from says they had no idea that the car was remapped, they’re willing to update the system software with their technicians. Free of charge they say!! I’m concerned about the advice Audi gave in regards to reversing the remapping. ANY ADVICE PLEASE, thank you!!

  4. Still learning myself, found the leak eventually had to do it in the dark, neighbours use to it by now, it’s coming from the crossover cooling pipe between cylinder heads looks like the rubber seal has gone on connection to pipe on passenger side, a lot of stripping down to get to but that’s the fun of it,cheers Steve. How are you getting on with your car

  5. Your other problem is now you'll have to notify your insurance company it's been modified. The dealer who supplied the car should do this foc as the car is sold not as described. Make sure you get a good warranty from the dealer though in writing
