Hi Gareth, update on the hold assist issue. Took it into Audi dealer yesterday and of course like any intermittent issue it worked perfectly all the way there, when the technician sat with me on a test drive and all the way home. Technician gave a good technical explanation of the hold assist function, which I’m pretty sure was the cause of the issue as it worked fine after I switched it off on the day I experienced the problem. Agreed that if the issue arises again I would take it back in with as much info i can give them eg when it happened, time, how long car had been running etc etc.. They would then probably keep the car for a few days to investigate. Any further developments I’ll let you know.

Hi Gareth, all opinions welcome! I think that’s why I am enjoying doing this project as it is blending the car and building worlds together! Also I forgot to mention, that of course, we will give the owner a copy of the prints and the book when it comes out in the new year. Best Regards, John

I agree with you Gareth, I don't want it till next year but I would like to know what is happening. When I spoke to them a few weeks ago, they said it was 'scheduled' for build in week 49. Good info, thank you....but did it get built then (week of 4th Dec) or was it put back...where is it now? I think if you are spending the amount of money we are, you'd expect a little courtesy now and again......sorry...just having a right old moan lol
