  1. Welcome Xenon, Sorry to hear about your issue, and the garage’s difficulty in resolving it. Possibly too simplistic, but I wonder whether the rear end electrical issues are a coincidence, and not actually related to the work done. If it were mine, I would be eliminating the possibility that the issue is due to fractured wires in the flexible harness section twixt the body and the tailgate. This is a favourite place for wires to fracture after many years of opening and closing - particularly in this cold weather. Always worth an eliminating look at. Similar inspection with flexible section leading into the driver door. Perhaps you could let us know how they get on. Kind regards, Gareth.

  3. Yes, I sorted it, managed to find a tiny crack on the edge which must've been letting the dampness in. I just sealed it myself and haven't had any probs since. I couldn't get the light out though so good job I found the problem. Don't know if 170 is a bit expensive but given a new matrix headlight will cost over 1000 i suppose it could be money well spent if you can't DIY it Thanks paul

  5. Hi Sam I bought a new 21 plate Q3 for my Wife sorry for delay but I have been going through photos and checking your pictures out . The plastic additions to the car look like Edge protectors it was the panel gaps that caught my eye as mine was not like that and the one that you were offered looked like it was folding in half

  6. Thanks Omar, and sorry to hear of your issue. The Audi dealer’s conclusion that everything is fine, is obviously incorrect, unless every 2022 A3 on the road gives the same noise, and always did from the point when they were new. I guess you can confirm that this noise hasn’t always been present with this car -? If not, the car is trying to tell you something. Recommendation:- Try another dealer, and request a road test with a mechanic before leaving the car with them. Perhaps you could let us know how you get on Omar. Kind regards, Gareth.

  11. Pushing this lever upwards opens the three clips marked, pushing it down moves them back inwards to lock the bulb in place. This is left-hand side (passenger) side, I haven't looked at drivers side since it involves wrestling the wheelarch liner out.
