  1. The car has been back to the local dealer today and it didn’t take them long to spot that the suspension hadn’t been properly adjusted after delivery. I’m not aware of the technical terms but after the suspension is secured for transport, the securing blocks should be removed and other ’bits’ (sorry I don’t know the proper term) properly adjusted. The dealer who handled the car and did the release checks obviously didn’t get this right. 30 minutes up on the ramp at my local dealer and a quick drive and all seems OK. Thanks Jason for your thoughts. I hope this is of help to anyone having similar problems.

  2. HI Dary, I’ve just changed the from and rear pads on my RS4 B9.5. The videos for the S4 you have found online can be referenced for your model mate. I used the same and can confirm the S4 replacement procedure is exactly the same. I went for the Brembo pads rather than OEM, feel pretty good so far. if you are ordering replacement pads, make sure you get the accessories kit, it contains new clips etc. The old clips on my pads came out in pieces and they will need replaced. I also purchased new pad wear sensors. One sensor for each axle. Im sure you have this in hand but just a reminder you will need an OBD2 to retract the rear handbrake before replacing the rear disc and pads. Edit, sorry, just realised you posted this 8 months ago! Im new to the forum but lesson learned, check the dates before replying. 🙂

  3. Hi folks, joined up a wee while ago and posted pics. Updated pics attached following some mods. Maxton Designs have recently released a full body kit for the RS4 B9.5 facelift. Thought I would share as some members may be thinking about purchasing. Full Maxton body kit, front splitter, side skirts, rear canards, rear diffuser and rear roof spoiler extension. i have recently fitted wheel spacers to improve the stance of the car. 15mm front and 20mm rear. I’ll update and post pictures of that mod later. The pictures attached were taken before I fitted the wheel spacers. The 15mm front are right on the edge, I may change to 12mm if I get any rubbing, nothing so far though. Also recently purchased an OBD2eleven PRO scanner. Just started playing with it. Looks like a very capable bit of kit so far. I have activated the Apple car play wireless Bluetooth connection, also used it to retract the rear parking brake to change the pads. I’m looking to learn a lot more about coding for this car. Im happy with the results so far.

  4. I agree, I am pressing my dealer, who is sending my 2 page failure report to Audi UK, to tell me how many other customers with theses systems have had failures. Somehow we need to get this into a wider audience but understand few motoring journalist will, pick it up as it is the motor manufacturers who are their bread and butter. Maybe I will write to Private Eye.

  5. Absolutely valid concern. My concern is that no one seems to be talking about Audi about whether this issue is actually getting fixed or just repaired. What I’m saying they’re just replacing the broken alternator but are they actually replacing it with something that doesn’t happen again in the future because so far I think they are just putting the a new same part in

  6. Hey Guys, New to the forum, I have a diesel hatch in manual with cloth seats (nothing too exciting to write home about). My friend recently bought the new E-tron (electric suv) and I must say it is some piece of kit! Very techy and silent, it is abit bigger than a Q5 and the gadgets in it are unreal! I actually made a video on his E-tron because its was very techy and had lots of toys... Here is a wee link if anyone wants to see it 🙂 Thomas.
