  1. Worth describing the symptoms to Audi and taking their advice on potential costs. As I said, I would just forget about the recall, unless they can assure you it is connected with the Adblu issue.

  2. Had the same problem on my 21 VW T roc , it was a known problem and called the mooing brake problem VW changed the rear brake pads with a different type and the problem was solved .

  4. Update: Our friend has just been, the issue is glow plug 4 - all 4 glow plugs were changed when they were prepping the car! My partner and father in law said this might be the case, so guess they were right! Waiting for the dealership to open so I can call them and update them. I’ll still be heading there tomorrow and hopefully they can sort it the same day without me needing to take a courtesy car home! 🤞🏻🙏🏻

  5. Thanks Andy I have had the car fixed. The brake pads had been replaced but the problem remained. So Audi Germany listened to the audi tape I made of the noise and after 2 weeks of trying various remedies they replaced the pads with "different " pads and it seem to have sorted the problem. I got the car back after 2 weeks just in time for Christmas. So far no further problems. Thanks for your efforts though, much appreciated.
