  1. Welcome Frank, and thanks for joining. You will hopefully get other views to help you make your decision. I must admit that I am not basing my comments on personal experience, but on that gained by an elderly friend, who was totally disappointed with the ride comfort of a newish S Line - chosen by his children - due to its ‘look’. I think, but I’m not certain, that Audi seem to link the attractive specifications and ‘toys’ with the S Line, so if you want these attractive features then you have to ‘put up with’ the harsher ride quality. It’s worth examining these cars in terms of possible low profile, possibly XL load rated tyres often associated with larger wheels, which further aggravate the ride quality. Technik? Sorry Frank - no knowledge. Does this all boil down to style vs ride quality -as you think? I feel it likely does, so the decision has to be made to go with which of these two is most important to you. Please remember that this is a one-person opinion, but possibly includes a couple of pointers to guide your options while you await other advice. Good luck and kind regards, Gareth.

  2. Hi for all you folks out there with Adblue tank problems mainly caused by crystals in the system, level sensors and delivery pipes, had a good long look at this product and what it does and its been very successful when used on lorries and is now available for cars, adding approx £11-14 on to your adblue fill its still cheaper than a new system that you can only get from Audi. 3. Might it be the temperature sensor referenced here? https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-c7-platform-discussion-194/mystery-button-climate-control-2824594/

  4. Somewhere or other, I don't know where or when, I recall reading of high temperatures causing problems with the instrument cluster. By itself that information is of no use to you, but perhaps it may prompt other folks memories to add some detail.

  6. I have the problem of steaming up camera wing mirrors. The offside after 3 months of buying my Audi Etron QUATTRO 55. Then both of them 6 months after that all visits under warranty on a 2020 model. I live on the Isle of Lewis so cannot just pop in to the nearest Audi dealer. Today the nearside steamed up again so I carefully removed the bezel and very carefully prized the class screen. I say VERY carefully!! The glass/clear poly carbonate did not break and wiped off all the moisture with a camera lens cleaning cloth. Back to perfect vision then started to mist up a couple of hours later. Very poor design so when there is some really sunny hot weather I will do the same again and let it breath. I am tempted to put a some silica gel bag in the housing and get to the bottom of why moisture is getting in there. This should not happen on a car that is an expensive luxury car.. Richard

  7. I have a edition 1 e-tron with camera wing mirrors, both of the cameras have been replaced once. However the driver side camera is steaming up again, when washed or went it rains. Therefore reducing visibility, anyone had this issue? I think I have to contact my dealership and raise another fault to replace the faulty camera and I am not sure if they will be difficult. It seems these camera's have design fault.
