  1. New to me 2017 B9 Avant S-Line Limited Edition, replacing a B8.5 Avant Tecknik. Very happy with it, the increased Hp over the older makes some difference!! (Pictured with my other 'toy')

  3. We have B9.5 S-line on 19" wheels (A5 mind you). Yes it is firm but looks amazing and I think I notice the ride more than my wife. The flat bottom wheel etc. also look great.

  5. I admire your patience Sharon. I would have given up on Audis long ago if I had suffered the company's deplorable customer care.

  6. Yes, water ingress has been proven but Noone seems to be able to identify how it is getting in. Unfortunately the 1 year warranty has expired.

  7. Hi, I have a 21 plate S-line Avant Black Edition with B&O, & running on 19" rims. I bought the wheel & jack kit from the Wheelshop. I did have a flat on the front & the space saver fitted fine, although the jack was garbage. Binned that & bought a better quality german one from Amazon. It all lives in a cloth bag in the cubby space under the floor just behind the back seats.

  8. Hi Just joined, always end up joining a forum. Last month I bought a 54 plate A3 3.2 sport quattro. Was excellent, now the the 20 year old neglect had started to surface.

  9. What's the options include on the S-Line? I went from a 10yr old B8.5 Technick to 7yr old B9 S-Line with a lot more toys. Technik was a grand bus, but just a bit boring. Technik sat on 17" wheels and was very comfortable. S-Line sits on 19" wheels and while firmer, isn't uncomfortable. Though if you're doing a lot of town driving, you may experience a lot more pot-holes. Might be worth asking the dealer if you can fit 17" alloys to the S-Line. Calipers should clear the inner surface of the alloy barrel, but always worth checking.

  10. Hello Jay, Hello Jay, London certainly isn’t unique in not having a Parts Dept ‘window’ at Audi dealerships - same here in the sticks - but if you pay a visit to the inevitable Reception desk, and say you want to buy, say a timing belt for your car, then a Parts person usually comes in sight. The example sheet you have posted, does appear to be a build record, and does give you a date of production. If this is the date which is important to you, then there you have it, and you should be able to get the appropriate sheet for your VIN - from your same source?? Perhaps you could keep us informed Jay. Kind regards, Gareth.

  11. Hi, the sensors do fail alot on the MK1 TT because of the age of the car, I had to replace my oil pressure sensor last week, I would start with replacing the sensors, they don't normally cause issues with the turbo, it's best to change them anyway, they are not expensive, I would then look at the n75, the pipes are notorious for splitting or even collapsing, I replaced mine with silicone ones, check the PVC valve and the big pipe coming off the turbo

  13. Get a smoke test done on it if you suspect a boost leak.
