Hi I think the battery is on its way out, my daughters Q3 just did the same, the battery was just coming up to four years old so bought another Varta battery on line £155.00 if you fit a new battery its wise to fit the same brand which makes it easier to code in.
Steve.
It should be in your drivers manual, right at the start
Copy of a PDF from online. for my 2017 A4, but should be the same I'm guessing for yours.

Sound like a wiring issue. Are you having any battery problems as well?
Its possible the brake cluster lights and boot release wiring have rubbed though and are contacting.
Best way to check is to pop the boot while engine is on. Have someone stand at the rear of the car - If you're brake lights come on, that'll be your problem.
Hi all, just fixed the brake servo restricted issue, there are many cheap sensors on eBay, I paid £14.00 and fitted it myself, very simple and straight forward, 10 mins with following pictures and uTube video. Went for a drive and all fixed, no need for an OBD, don't go to Audi if they are asking for £500.00!!!!!
Sorry to see this car go. It's not been used very much hence the very low mileage. It's been kept in a garage over the yrs and has been serviced every year ( paper work included ) Cam belt was change 2 years ago. Good looking car, roof in good condition, viewing is a must. Next MOT due 23/05/2025, Full service history, Blue, 2 owners, £3,500 ONO Located in Dundee.
I'll let you know, the initial purchase price is higher but all the other iCarsoft units I've used on Jaguars and Mercedes have all been spot on, the other thing is I am always more than happy to lend it out to anyone in reasonable driving distance.
