  1. I am being "testy" as you call it because the forum is being plagued by people like yourself who pose questions and never bother to look at the replies that others have spent time and effort on. If your problem was important enough to spend time composing your questions, surely it is worth a little more time to read and aknowledge their replies? Is that really too much to expect? If nothing else, the matter is one of good manners.

  4. Hi check the connector to the power steering motor as they are prone to corrosion on the pins, then check the wiring from the plug up as far as possible for broken wires, even if you have to remove the loom wrapping its easily replaced, genuine loom tape on eBay is pretty cheap. Steve.

  7. You should not need to be brutal with the bonnet or even slam it hard. If it can not be secured by lowering gently then pressing above the latch, it needs adjustment to the latch.

  8. Thanks James, Checking if bonnet isn’t fully closed is always the first check if wipers are not working, but thanks for reinforcing that. Kind regards, Garetn h.

  9. Hi the symptoms of clutch failure are simply diagnosed, take the car out get it up to temp then find a nice hill to go up and change up early so the engine is beginning to labour then slam the throttle down if the clutch is knackered the revs will rise rapidly withe no extra acceleration, I am in no doubt Audi will tell you its gone just to get the job and charge you even more money than anyone else, I have driven over a million miles in cabs and stand on me thats the best way of testing the clutch, Audi ownership is for people with deep pockets, yes they are great to drive, yes they are powerful, but you know what the parts prices dont justify the ownership, I just bought new discs and pads for My Passat and they were a bargain at £123.40 compared with the A6 which was Brembo as well at £270.80 even aftermarket its a JOKE. Steve.

  10. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not done with it. A lot of Audi's have been arriving without correct specs since COVID claiming issues with supplies, chip shortages etc. Q7s have been coming without matrix headlights too.

  11. Hi Any suggestions? engine management light on our 2020 A1 25, illuminates and independent said fault code was MAF sensor, it was changed and ok for 500 miles, then same issue and fault code, so he changed again at no cost. Same issues again. Unlikely it’s 3 faulty sensors and independent saying contact main dealer as he can’t do anything else. Anyone had this issue and/or any suggestions without meaning up main dealer costs? I’m based Rickmansworth thanks
