Just thought I would introduce myself. Been an A4 Avant owner since 2016 and just upgraded to a new Black Edition love them to bits and a good workhorse, gets me to Le Mans every year too which is another passion. Anyhow hello and I hope to contribute in the future.

So this is my recent acquisition. Will be replacing the wife's 2017 Astra-K. This is a 2017/67 1.5 TFSI. Looking forward to getting to know you all and this forum, hopefully for good stuff. Planning to have rear windows tinted, alloys changed, mudflaps added...all in due course. Thank you.

Pleased to report that offending hub bolt was removed by welding a nut and released with an extended 3/4 breaker bar. O S rear wheel bearing was worn however this was only detected when removed from the hub carrier. Mechanic suggested this may have been caused by the hub bolt having been over tightened in the first instance. The mechanic also referred to similar problems rounding the head when removing but not when tightening the M 16 hub bolts. Thanks to all who contributed. Well she nearly done just getting new tyre for the back, just got a small leak on the power steering hose so a easy fix and need too bleed the breaks to put fresh do4 in and bleed the radiator from the hose at the back sound lush 20240829_135629.mp4
