  1. Hi all, I’ve just picked up this wee S Line Quattro 2.0 Tfsi and I have to say I love it!! Great wee car! I’m based in Northern Ireland.

  2. Danny. If that is a true reading, although it does seem very low, I suggest the battery is clapped out because of an internal fault. It would be wise to get it professionally tested before splashing out cash on a new battery and ensure you get it coded to the car.

  3. I am a little puzzled by this topic. Are you buying a new water pump & timing belt because the cabin heater is not working?

  4. ***update*** Just testing the fuel pressure after replacing the injectors and can see that fuel pressure is still low therefore im trying a new fuel return valve to see if this is the cause of the problem

  6. Happy to report that the temperature this morning was 5 deg C. Heated wing mirrors worked as they are supposed to. So it does look like the Instruction manual is correct and they are dependent upon the ambient temperature. Minimum of 5 deg C appears to be the start point.

  7. Hello John, I’ve tended to stick with Gates, but ideally buying a genuine VAG. water pump. Some might suggest Dayco to good effect. You’ve now got other options, such as SKF ( once a very well respected manufacturer of bearings), and INA - also bearing manufacturers. Whichever you use, I would recommend you renew the auxiliary belt at the same time. Kind regards, Gareth.
