  1. Hi so far this week we have had Labour back tracking on the emissions target again due to Vauxhall and Nissan threatening to pull the plug on U.K. operations if the government dont ease up on the punitive fines if they dont meet their sales targets on new electric vehicles, how do you sell something that not many people want, then you have the European problems, VAG have thousands of brand new vehicles that have been parked up for a year or over both electric and fossil fuel, the problem there is most average Europeans can't afford to buy them as the prices have rocketed and the quality of build is no where near what it was, we know all about that, meanwhile the Chinese are flooding the market with cheap EVs but even they are not selling by the bucket load, to add to the woes of VAG Donald Trump is talking about higher tariffs on European cars,Jaguar are going to cut their dealerships by 75% and only sell all electric cars in wealthy areas, Porsche have stated that they will carry on with petrol car development and sales until someone forces them to stop, does anyone else sense Rebellion in the air, if Nissan decide to pull out the queues at the DWP offices will be outrageous in Sunderland, more waste of skilled labour with not enough supermarket jobs to go round, low wages and high prices create poverty and crime and at the end of the day recession. Steve.

  2. Why main dealer for an eight year old car Mark? Don’t you have a trusted local garage who can look at it?

  3. Hello Paul, I’ve stuck with NGK over a couple of decades, and been very happy with them. I think Denso is another well respected brand, and others might come up with alternative recommendations for you. Kind regards, Gareth.

  7. Apologies for the gripe, but the forum has recently suffered from a spate of what can be termed ‘Post and Run’ new members, who seem to think it’s perfectly acceptable to post a plea for help, and simply not return to view the help given. In a more diluted form, help is offered, but is very rarely acknowledged even via. a simple press of the Like button, leave alone a posted Thank You. The last part of the gripe is that we frequently have to ask for additional information, and this extra detail often never materialises. Please remember, everyone who posts replies do so without payment, but it certainly does cost them in time - in terms of the Moderators and Admin back up - a lot of time. So a special plea to all on here who post needing help:- please be respectful enough to acknowledge any help given, rather than simply accept it as a no-cost, no time of yours, free advice service. It’s wearing thin folks, so if you want to retain this service, please respect and acknowledge its benefits. Thank you all for reading this, and above all, agreeing to adhere to the respect that is needed to be shown. Kind regards, On behalf of the Moderators. Please note:- This request is to all members, not just new ones.

  8. It’s a country that forces you to buy things that either originally comes from Norway or buy from companies that are Norwegian for high prices and if you still choose to buy from abroad you are going to pay double the price because of the taxes. I used to buy car parts from AutoDoc since its mostly good quality and low prices but a few years ago Norway decided that everyone will have to pay taxes on items from abroad so you can buy a car part for 200e and then you will pay 100e more when it arrives… so ordering outside Norway is out of question😂
