  1. Got an email from the Head of Aftersales after chasing my car, apparently they can't find a fault (what a surprise) - they claim they have been trying to call and email me however I have no missed calls, voicemails or emails (have checked spam and quarantine - I am an IT admin) Just useless......

  2. The E Tron GT is a very wide car. 7 feet between the mirrors. I scuffed the offside rear wheel in a multi story car park the other day. As I have already had the wheels refurbed by Audi because of corrosion when the car was new they cannot be done again. So I purchased a another wheel. Managed to get a second hand one in perfect condition with a worn tyre at a reasonable price. I now know why there is no spare wheel. There is nowhere to put it. This rear wheel is so wide it only just fits in the boot. It took two blokes to put it in, not sure how to get it out yet.

  3. I do t think there's a simple way to repair it. The best two options is to replace the trim or wrap it.

  4. Hi Gareth I bought the car from Ron Skinners in west wales, Neyland. Annoyingly, I took out a warranty plan but it only covers the var for six months or 6k whichever is first. We bought the car in march this year and are around 6k from when we bought it. I did the mot at VAG so they could do a diagnostic at the same time. In the meantime, Skinner has offered to do the clutch and fly wheel for £1600.00 so half the amount…

  6. Make them aware you're concerned that the two cars are totally different despite being mechanically the same and ask for a refund? You're allowed a refund up to the first 30 days after sale.

  7. The Exide (out of stock) is £118 and the Yuasa £105 plus delivery. A big difference in the garage prices, however, I too am not too confident about the coding workings. My Exide battery is 9 years old and still going, just, so the exact model is El700 Micro Hybrid but the Tayna El700 is EFB, all the dimensions etc, are the same. What I find strange is that no one else mentions changing this type of battery on this forum. Am I the only one trying it? I do not know what to do and that is why I posted it here to find out from someone who has actually carried out this job. Cheers, Tony
