  1. If the outer diameter of the plastic pipe is 5.6/5.7 mm I would buy fuel pipe with internal bore of 5mm and warm in boiling water for a few minutes before fitting, secure with clamps of correct diameter for hose outer diameter, be quick when replacing and when starting give it a boot of revs for a few minutes and with any luck the air will be pushed thru with the revs fluttering a few times.

  2. Sounds like a cluster display issue to me, if the running temps are fine as the obd would show, personally I wouldn't worry too much. It sounds like you've tried everything else. Also, I am NOT an Audi technician or vehicle tech of any description and often wrong. Are there other temperature sensors that could be replaced as well as the one you have already done? @Sid2020 knows his stuff, perhaps he can assist you better than I

  3. Audi headlamps have breathers on them as do all car manufacturers so there not ever fully sealed. As Magnet stated a hair dryer or gentle Hot air gun does help if you have a removal cap on the back to let the moisture out when it evaporates, but if LED units just drive with dipped beam on as much as possible to generate heat to slowly burn it off. I know Seat have a service bulletin that customers receive if they complain stating it’s normal so Wouldn’t be surprised if all VAG company’s have similar

  4. Mark. If that is the return line, not the delivery line, then it will not need to be bled. The outside diameter is unimportant; it's the internal diameter that needs to match your existing hose to ensure a snug fit on the metal pipe. Ensure the hose is suited to the fuel. Not all grades of hose can be used on both diesel and petrol.

  5. Amelia. You had marked the wrong post as the solution. I have changed it to the correct one.

  6. Hi all, Audi replaced the washer pump and performed under warranty with no quibble. Might just buy another Audi next time. Thanks for everyone's help and sorry I overthought things! Best wishes!! x

  8. My wife's Ford Focus CC did this because the window freezes to the rubber surround sometimes. Some Gummi fledge on the rubber stopped it.

  9. Audi are bound to say that to get out of paying for it. For you to take out a service plan did they do a health check at Audi prior to the washers stop working. Definitely could be the pump.
