  1. I did try to wiggle the connector, and today drove the car just short distances 15-20 miles. And no warning lights. When the engine warms up the temperature is always 90. But what I did notice is that when the engine is cold coolant level is between min and max marks, but when it's hot coolant level rises a little over max mark.
  2. Is it possible for the coolant temperature to be too high? If yes then what could cause that?
  3. In the handbook it says : Coolant level low/ coolant temperature too high. Press check button for any additional info about the fault. I have tried pressing check button, it checks all system and no additional info comes up.
  4. When it comes on it just says Coolant under the sign and at the same time I feel a little loss of power And as soon as it goes power increase back to normal.I will definitely try wiggling that connector. Thanks
  5. Hello, today I had first long trip in my 2007 a6 3.0 Tdi. It was all fine for most of it,but when driving back ( after about 200 miles) coolant warning light came on, bleeped few times and disappeared. So I stopped at the petrol station to check on my coolant level and it is fine. 2 minutes after I drove off it came back on again , this time it beeped like 3-4 times. Any ideas what could it be?
  6. Quick update, the leak has been sorted. Apparently it was leaking oil, and the reason was that the nut had wrong washer fitted so it developed a slow leak. New nut with washer installed and hopefully no more leaks.
  7. I rang them and they booked me in for Thursday, but then I had a closer look and the fluid is clear/ yellowish so it could be brake fluid. Rang them back and they going to look at it tomorrow morning. Don't want to be driving around in a car with leaking brake fluid... I'll keep you all informed
  8. I hope my car was not a police car or something similar. And the mileage I believe is too low for it being a police car, unless it was clocked back. I did get in touch with the dealership and they told me that they will ask the previous owner and let me know. So I will keep you informed guys
  9. I will give my garage a call first thing in the morning, I hope it is something simple and easily fixable
  10. Hi, everyone. Had my full servicing done few days ago and today I found a big colorful fluid stain on my drive. From that picture could you verify that it is oil or it could be any other fluid? Thank you
  11. I have 3.0 TDI quattro and in my opinion car was not used for a while before I bought it. Would it be worth using any fuel additive just to clean the engine? and what product would you guys recommend?
  12. I thought the same because when I switch the ignition on, they do not illuminate
  13. Hi everybody, recently bought audi a6 2007 3.0Tdi quattro and so far really like the car. What confused me that there are 2 switches near hazard button that are not in the manual. And I don't see any changes after I switch them on or off. Any ideas what they are for?
