  1. OK fair enough. It was the best answer I could find. Well my guess in that case is that it has something to do with the transmission engaging. My Dads old Beemer did it for a couple of months a while ago. Thing is, it fixed itself. Glen.
  2. I would guess tyres is your issue. To all intents the Q7 should be pretty good. Glen.
  3. I might be wrong on this but I think you can use the turbo pipe on the standard car. The pipe itself as far as I'm aware is actually the same on the two models. You could always ask at an Audi specialist. They should give you a definitive answer. Glen.
  4. We'll forgive you for liking Merc more but great to have you here. Look forward to having you. Glen.
  5. It's worth the money if you really think your car needs them! Glen.

I think the bleeder valves are at the back of the engine. I'm not entirely sure about that but that's where I think they are. It could also be where the radiator is. Glen.
  7. If it's possible to adjust the leveling then it might work but a set of imported lights as standard I would think not. Glen.
  8. I think it's chain. Glen.
  9. Are you considering RS models. The RS4 is a very good used bargain at the mo and it shares its 4.2 V8 with the first R8 supercar. Considered by quite a few journo's to be the best all rounded engine in production today. If not then any diesel S Line model should be reliable compared to most other cars. I would recommend the A4 as the 6 is that much bigger and that much more difficult to park. Glen.
  10. I would think so. If you're thinking about the main bulb. I don't think any LED bulbs will work. As for plug n play I can't say for sure. Glen.
  11. I had to do a slight bit of research and I found out that it might be the torque converter. The clutch can generate vibrations for a brief moment while changing gears. I'll link you to the page that I found as it's a bit wordy. http://uberlame.com/a6_tsb/Transmission/Chirping,%20hooting,%20squeaking%20noise%20when%20shifting%20between%203-4.pdf Glen!
  12. I liked my old MK5 Fiesta. Audi is definitely a step up though. Hope all goes well for you and welcome to the forum. Glen.
  13. Good thing you changed the plates because I had the same thought go through my head. Right after that's a nice car. Glen.
  14. I'm sorry but I can't think of a way to get your disc out other than to take the whole thing apart and take it by hand. Had a similar issue with my old PS3 once and to this date still don't have my disc back. Then again the PS3 is ridiculously tough when being opened up and resorting to the hammer didn't work. So yeah, don't hit it with a hammer is my advice :) Glen.
  15. We're here to share our knowledge Whoosh, welcome to the club. Glen.
  16. Unfortunately I haven't got anything to add to Steve's post. Glen.
  17. Thanks for popping in, hi to you to. Glen.
  18. I would be tempted to say that it's pretty decent but if it were me I'd swallow my sense of decency and try to heckle it down to about £5,500. No harm in trying. Glen.
  19. Hello and welcome to the club. Glen
  20. To be honest I think so. I wouldn't take any chances. Rattling from an engine isn't normally a good sign. Glen!
  21. Quite a back story. The Seat is a different type of car to the Audi to be honest. The A4 is meant to be more comfortable than it is sporty in that guise. Should be a nicer car for your baby to ride in by miles. Glen!
  22. Welcome to the club mate. Glen!
  23. You could try an Audi specialist near you. I'm sure they'll be able to help. Glen!
  24. I think all cars respond quite well to aftermarket air filters. It helps the engine breath and frees up a few horses. I think that would be my first action if I were to tune up a car. Glen.
