Thanks again mate. The biggest problem we had was packing a pram, travel cot and bedding for our little girl taking up the most room.It almost ended up like a stressful task remembering to pack the car in a certain way to get it all to fit.I will look into the aero bars and locking feet, will need this for September so I’ve got a bit of time to shop around. Did you have to torque tighten the cross bars to the Audi-fitted chrome roof rails? Paul

Afternoon all, I just wanted to ask for some advice really, I am looking at getting a roofbox for my A6 Avant and I was wondering if anyone on here has had one fitted and which size they decided to go for? We’ve just come back from a week away and again had a mountain of stuff. I was looking for a Thule roofbox, but there are also lots of roofbars to choose from, and apart from the price, I can’t see a great deal of difference. Any help would be great, Thanks Paul

Afternoon guys, I wanted to ask your opinion on recommended child car seat protectors. Which ones do you use? I’ve got a group 1/2/3 car seat for my little ones future journeys but don’t want to ruin the seats. Any help would be greatly appreciated,many thanks in advance. Paul

Evening guys, I am looking to upgrade my car seat for my little one, I just wondered if anyone on here had the Audi one? I tried to look at reviews but they were quite hard to come by. Evening guys, Sorry to bother you all again.It is looking like I’m picking up my 2014 A6 Avant this weekend ☺️ I’m going to have to put an Isofix car seat in the back for my daughter, so I wondered if anyone has used the Genuine Audi Child Seat Underlay Seat Protectors? I don’t really want to ruin the seats as they are currently mint,but the extra space was the obvious reason for buying the Avant in the first place.The second thing is, is it easy to fit the Isofix base myself? I read other posts on here that sounded a bit confusing. I also wondered if the Isofix mount is something that can be removed,to allow use of the three back seats when the baby is not in the car,or once installed is it a permanent fixture? Sorry to ask so many questions Paul

Hello guys,thanks so much for the warm welcome,much appreciated.My Fiancées Fiesta Titanium was stolen,which was keyless, which was what started me worrying.I was thinking of buying a Faraday pouch and a key box,and leave the spare key at my Mrs’ Mum and Dads away from home.I did look at those steering locks Paul,is that what you recommend? Evening all, I wondered if anyone on here can help me.This is my first post, as I haven’t picked up my A6 yet, but I had some questions about the keyless entry/keyless go security precautions people on here have taken? I’ve read into it a little, and I’ve had people recommend the faraday key pouches, I just wondered if anyone can recommend any of these in particular? I was also looking into a steering lock, but apparently the disklok can be smashed off in a matter of minutes, and the other ones can cut into the steering wheel?
