Hi Rich.Dealer told me never remove sdcard once activated if you do sdcard will have to be activated again.ime not sure if that is correct.better to be on the safe side.Good luck with yours.

Hya rich.sd card will have to be activated by Audi main dealer or an independent Audi dealer.My independent Audi dealer has the equipment to do it.There is a charge for doing it. ive been a customer with the dealer for 20 years and bought several cars from him he won’t charge me for this.The car was advertised with satnav so he was obliged to sort it out .Should be the same with your dealer.Best of luck.

Apparently their updating sd cards.Spoke to dealer yesterday sd card will be latest card .Keep in touch.I will let you know when card arrives.

SPurchased audiq3 from a Audi dealer sat nav sd card missing.dealer ordered sd card from Germany three weeks ago.no sign of card arriveing.Was the car advertised with satnav if so dealer should pay for sd card etc.

Lost sd card for satnav on2016 Audi q3.my independent Audi dealer ordered new sd card from Audi Germany been waiting 3 weeks no sd card.Dealer rang Audi reply was no sd cards available at the moment.Had to re order .No information when sd card will be available.Why is there a shortage.Plenty on eBay.

Recall last year . Emmisions.This year heater element.Audi centre 40miles away .waste of two days.and cost of fuel.Audi should pay for this. Have owned audis for 20 years .i think it's time for a change.

Anyone else had problems after recall.
