  1. I think the dampers are firmer too, but aside from that it's just springs. Audi these days offer either sport (20mm) or S line (30mm) drop I believe, so it would probably be worth pursuing the sports suspension. In fact, I think many B8 models had sports suspension as standard so it might be worth checking?
  2. Hi Marek, welcome to AOC Nice photo, it's pretty cool that you take what appears to be pretty much a standard family estate on the track - fair play! Out of interest have you done any mods to the car?
  3. Hi Rita, welcome! Post some photos up of your TT when you get a minute! What engine did you go for?
  4. Is that a map update or just firmware?
  5. Well that sounds promising, and not a bad result either. Are you happy with that?

Can't you take the bracket out of your previous A1? You will probably need to get the bracket from your Audi dealership otherwise, unless it's available on eBay etc
  7. Continental conti sport contact 5 or Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 2 for mostly road use, Michelin Pilot sport cup 2 or 3 if you want a tyre that's pretty good on track too
  8. Personally, if you've paid a reasonable amount to have the system installed then you would expect it to work properly. I'd take it back to the dealer that installed it and ask them to take a look. Tell them it's never worked properly since you've had it done.
  9. To be honest we get loads of rain at this end of the country too. Could really do with a car port or double garage or something! I'm sure the torque difference will be very noticeable once you'd had the remap - should have a nice punch for overtaking!
  10. Sounds good. I've seen quite a few people using that stuff and always wanted to try it. Never got round to it though! Must give it a go soon! Where did you get it from?

I only have the four Audi rings and "S5" on mine, and yes it sure is nice! Can't see myself getting rid any time soon!
  12. £40 doesn't seem that bad to be honest for a full calliper. You might find something cheaper but I wouldn't think by much.
  13. Sounds like a worthwhile upgrade then! Any other plans for the car at the moment?
  14. Looks really smart Ian, congrats on the purchase! What car did you come from?
  15. That's a sham Paul, well in that case I suppose it's probably a new one or nothing then. There is of course the option of removing the bulb but you're obviously not fixing the issue - just hiding it. Not really something I'd recommend.
  16. So the rear lock didn't work at all before?
  17. Who have you asked about programming it? Sometimes this can be done with VAGCOM but not sure if your 80 will be too old or not?
  18. It's always a bit of a pain when this happens as a lot of the time to get to the mechanism you need the door card removed. Obviously you normally need the door open to do this so a lot of people often end up butchering the door card (and replacing later) to get to the bit they need

Steve I believe Audi offer badge deletion as a free option from the factory and of course some people remove them too!
  20. Hi Ross, was this also using the plasti dip stuff?
  21. What year is your Q7 Naz?
  22. What sort of prices are you getting at the moment?
  23. With regards to facelif/pre facelift I guess if it's a factory order it will be what the factory is currently producing - probably the facelift. I can see how you would have made an easy mistake with the A3/Sportback order but yes the dealership should have probably spotted it. In all honesty you and the dealership are probably both partly to blame, and it might be because you used car wow they can't discount it further anyway. I'm assuming it's the price difference between the two you're concerned about? They may offer to meet you half way you never know.
  24. That does look much better to be honest - scraped it yet?
  25. There are several different versions of MMI available - it's worth taking a look here to understand what they do: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi_Media_Interface I believe most of the features you are looking for are available depending on the version you get. Not sure that you can access playlists over bluetooth though - I think the device would have to be plugged in for that. I would suggest looking trying the features out when testing a car, to make sure you find one that has everything you want. There's nothing worse than getting a car home and finding it's missing a crucial feature because you didn't check and then finding it's expensive or impossible to retro fit.
